Architecture, whether it be domestic, institutional, urban, rural, biological or imaginary, is at the heart of my reflections on landscape and lived space. I'm interested in the plasticity of landscape, the spatial dynamics between nature and culture, the values they convey and the cyclical nature of the space that surrounds us. My practice in painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, digital printing and photography is inspired by Nature, model making, romanticism, surrealism, science fiction and theatricality, among others. In my recent research, I work with living mushrooms, which I cultivate, photograph and use to experiment with different collage approaches (digital and videographic) in order to build an imaginary world where Fungi and human constructions can co-exist in the same space.
