As part of my micro-publishing residency at SAGAMIE, I will seize this opportunity to complete a series of book production projects resulting from field experiences. After self-publishing L'heure a la substance d'un train de banlieue (the fruit of a residency at LA SERRE – arts vivants and a finalist for the 2022 Expozine Award), I will print the 15 Nord project in Alma as part of a mentorship programme at the artist-run centre Verticale, along with Dominique Rivard. These two intiatives take an oblique look at the systems and infrastructures that question our relationship to mobility, productivism and drifting. As a candidate in the MA Literary Studies program at UQAM, I view writing as a material, and the book as a space.
