The project Anatomical Packaging is a series of digital works grouped in eight diptychs in which the elements are organized in structures reminiscent of ornamentation, wallpaper or gift wrapping. They reveal in passing, through detail, an orchestration based on the deformation and camouflage of human bodies. The work is articulated in the photographic space by positions and attitudes that generate scenarios related to different themes. These compositions, woven by the demultiplication of different bodies, refer to encounters I have made during my residencies. They reformulate stories and allegorical scenes where the enigmatic presence of the individual is put in the foreground.
The choreography, which is born from the use of these numerous bodies, propels the digital space towards various levels of reading. Reduced to an infinitely small scale, the bodies are forced to amalgamate with other members of their species through a conflictual dynamic. At the same time, they assemble in agglomerates on a surface from which emanates a vibration of harmony, a balance recalling a certain notion of infinity. This work deals as much with the individual's quest for identity as with that of the community, while metaphorically questioning human fragility and the ephemeral aspect of the ties that bind individuals together.
