The mechanics of the living are always at the basis of my work. I explore metaphysical avenues of destabilizing phenomena affecting the body by meticulously examining details and playing with the alteration of scales. I seek to create a visual language associated with the notion of duplicity in which humans witness their own lives as spectators. With the project Diagnostic 201100006131, I had fun deconstructing a simple radiological report in order to demonstrate a certain "dramatic absurdity" of its language. This artist's book, sometimes borrowing from the aesthetics of comics, shows how technical codes can be subject to interpretation. With a good dose of irony, I have constructed a story that shows how our environment can shape our perceptions to the point of hypochondria. In this way, I take an amusing, personal and metaphorical look at the concepts of therapy, pain and illness, which is part autobiography, part autofiction.
