Elise Anne LaPlante and Rémi Belliveau have been sharing their lives and collaborating around artistic projects for almost ten years. They repose, they wander and, together, they heed the rockeries between Mi'kma’ki / l'Acadie and Tiohtià:ke / Mooniyang / Montréal
Rémi Belliveau (they/them) is an artist and musician. Their work attempts to deconstruct and reprogram the foundational, structural, and imaginary principles of the Acadian culture to which they belong in the hopes of cultivating capacities for (self)analysis and critical thinking.
Elise Anne LaPlante (she/her) is an independent curator, author, and cultural worker. She flourishes in the grey areas, intrigued and driven by the political possibilities of the poetic. She explores affect and imaginaries while remaining acutely attentive to the dehierarchization of knowledge.
