The Digital Creation Co-laboratory is a concrete expression of our wish to facilitate access to digital creation tools for regional artists. On the one hand, this project fosters integration and experimentation, and on the other, the sharing of knowledge in the arts community. Research/creation residencies will thereby be offered to five selected artists who will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge with digital creation tools, all in the strictest adherence to the public health measures.
Here are the artists from the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region who will be in residency in 2021:
- Magali Baribeau-Marchand
- Caroline Fillion
- Naomie St-Pierre
- Yanik Potvin
- Simon Émond
The Digital Creation Co-laboratory was set up by Centre SAGAMIE in partnership with L'Unité médialab d'Alma and was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Direction régionale du ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec by way of the Du Numérique en Culture program. IQ l’Atelier, the Visual and digital arts department of the Collège d’Alma and the Alma-based Club Photofocus are also one-off partners in this project.
