Cinzia Campolese is an Italo-Canadian visual artist based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Her diverse body of work spans installations, sculptures, web, videos and prints, often examining the interplay between technology and perceptual phenomena.

Using shapes, signs, objects, and spatial representations that are familiar yet strangely distant, she seeks to delve into broader questions concerning our agency and the role of technology, aiming to create hybrid sites for escapism and reflection.

After completing her studies in Italy, she spent five years in Paris, working on micro-architecture, audio-visual performance and installation. In 2016 she moved to Montreal where she further developed her intermedia approach. Campolese's work has been showcased in a variety of esteemed cultural institutions, galleries and events worldwide, including the Goethe Institut, the International Digital Art Biennial (Montreal), B39 space (Seoul), Adiacenze Gallery (Bologna), Wood Street Gallery (Pittsburgh), Biennale Chroniques (Marseille), Stereolux (Nantes), Rotondes (Luxembourg), Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles (Paris), NEW NOW (Essen), Noise Media Art Fair (Istanbul), Art Souterrain, Phi Center (Montreal).
